The Tunnel Breathes

Bio-Industrial / Noise Pop

The tunnel is no longer around the body. It is inside it. Breath follows the structure, each exhale tightens the grid, and the machinery of the environment begins to operate through muscle, lungs and reflex.

What looks like adaptation is another form of capture. The body keeps itself alive by learning the rhythm of what is suffocating it, until breathing and confinement become impossible to separate.

Lyrics

Home, blind

Home, blind

Say it like the walls are closing in

Home, blind

Home, blind

But the sound won't let you win

Fingertips trace the damp seam

Where ceiling meets breath

No door, just the hum

Of something learning how to speak

The tunnel breathes in my ribs

Each exhale tightens the grid

I name the cracks as they widen

But the echo answers with lead

Knees remember kneeling

Though the floor never gave

A single inch of mercy

Just the weight of what I saved

The tunnel breathes in my ribs

Each exhale tightens the grid

I name the cracks as they widen

But the echo answers with lead

If I stop moving

Will it forget my shape?

If I hold my breath

Will it grant me escape?

The tunnel breathes in my ribs

Each exhale tightens the grid

I name the cracks as they widen

But the echo answers with lead

Blind… home…

Blind… stone…

Say it like the walls are breathing

Blind… alone…

But the sound won't let you go
